A man was walking down the sideroad.

as the clock ticks towards midnight,
he fastened his pace in urgency to meet up with his friends for he does not want to let them wait.
his mind was full of emptiness and his ears was plugged with ear phones as he brisked pass the strangers who were eating at the side stalls.

he was locked into his own world; just him, and music, caring less for wad is happening around him.

stall by stall he passed by, just like how the cars zoomed by him at the other side of the road.

He walked passed a soya milk shop, and looked into a car parked outside that particular shop.

a familiar face was looking at him, a sense of tingling feeling within him, but he could not care more.

one step.

two step.

he turned around to look again.

this time, that familiar face smiled.

the lady was waving at him, only then did he realised that feeling he had 11 years ago.

yes,
that same tingling feeling he had during those days.

she got down the car, and they talked awhile, describing how their lives had been going so far.

so far ? so good.

or so it seems to him.

farewells exchanged and there she goes.

Again.

He was caught, dumbfounded jus like how it was years ago.

He continued walking.

He had to, for he could not afford waiting again.

Its a pain in the ass, but he would've hoped it would last.

Ok so another year has passed , just nice been about 4 months since i last posted
i dont quite get the idea of blogging now, i don even noe who even bothers comming to my blog
and bother to read all these stuff that i written. of which about 90% of what i post couldnt be understood by my readers.

now is the year 2010, another decade has passed since the millenium. And to sum it all up, the year 2009 has been a year of ups and downs..well i ord peacefully, managed to get a silver medal for volleyball in singapore men's open, found some great jobs of which i got to know great friends. learnt alot of new things and been to places where no any ordinary persons can even get to. travlled to bangkok and australia, one of which i lived and the other i almost died. I began to love myself more , seeking to improve myself within to cope with this ugly world out there. i crashed my best friend's car , not to mention i almost killed 2 of my bestest friends, i endured through camp days , worked overly and too hard that i neglected my friends , family and loved one, up to the point i almost die of hunger working.. all for the sake of money.

I worked too hard , trained too hard, so much to the verge of losing myself..where i dont even know who i am anymore. what is my purpose in this life? i have to admit..money is definitly my first motivational drive. the thing that keeps me going and going.

im not the kind of person who gives up easily, yet, im stll a human after all. all i can do is still limited.

it sucked when i see my friends crumbling down one by one..but still im glad i at least tried to keep us together even though im not really involved. as we all grow up, things will never gonna be the same as it was anymore. and if anything happens, we are still one big family after all.

what has happened to me ? i used to be so carefree, dont even have to worry about anything at all. but now..look at me..i cant even find myself anymore...

Year 2010. gonna be a year of many many changes. im starting school at SIM soon, first week of school already have competition comming out for me. new team , new despair... but that still wont stop me from killing the opponents opposite me.

thru these few years, ive learnt a simple lesson which i will keep for life.
- I RATHER BETRAY THE WORLD. THAN LET THE WORLD BETRAY ME.

Have you ever ecountered when your friend who has a bf/gf and still two time their partner ?
well i certainly have, and even a victim of it. sometimes i just wonder why must people two time, well of course there must have been tons of reason behind it. And even to the point of having to two time most probably means that the fading relationship is , well , faded. And when truth comes to light, the whole world comes crashing down for the victim. okay maybe the world wont crash but still there is somepoint of damage. And thus , one learns from that lesson.

To make it sound bad , thats " two timing " for you. To make it sound worse , " Betrayal " is the word.

To me , i personally see this kind of stuff as common as it is already, friends who two time, if not rather they become the victim. Well of course im not trying to point fingers and say " hey thats wrong thing to do " so usually when i come across this kind of situation from my friends i would jus sit and watch the show. Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you - thats what i always think. And as always, the victim will rise triumphant and move on with life ( with the given factor of time )

yes , yes, lets move on with life you say. As i move along i begin find this speck of hatred after being two timed. And it grows. Not as bad as it seems though but i just simply hope the new found couple will jus betray each other and self disintergrade. The deeper their love, the finer they will disintergrade.How nice haha

recently i got to know that the world is going to end in 21st december 2012 i did alot of research and watched alot of youtube videos regarding this , whether if it is urban myth or trueok to my readers you probably have no idea what this 2012 is all about so let me tell u more about it.
the information below is taken from the facebook group 2012, u guys can take a look or join it if u wantquite interesting to know, but anyway believing or not is up to you.

2. Sun StormsSolar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it's supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it's been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it'll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012
3. The Atom Smasher
Scientists in Europe have been building the world's largest particle accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it's properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They're predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. 6. The Physicists
This one's case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they've determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they're claiming their calculations prove, that we're all going to die, very soon - while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.

What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so - and right now we're about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. one day back in camp while i was talking to my friends, one of my campmates unknowingly said to me " wah give u die (给你死) and unknowingly for me too, i replied to him " im not afraid of death, only afraid of having not lived my life . " (不怕死，只怕没活过）I do not not why i was so prompted to reply in such a way but it just comes naturally to me. life and death is but a process that we all, of who are born, must go through. And this particular line, sets me thinking more. what good must life be in order to really live through it ? there is no right or wrong to this question , as each and every individual one of us views through life differently.

water , takes up any form of container it is given in. soft as it is but still able to do large damage.
we all, are like water; formless, but taking on the shape of the container that we are living in.
such is life, such versatile yet limited by the boundaries we are set to live in.

so lets not complain about life but instead be like water, flow along with it and the damage are little. go against the currents and you'll only find yourself struggling. and maybe by then one may not fear death, for he / she had already lived the life.

a few years back i was at kolam ayer csc playing volleyball, i do not know why but some how i just cant seem to spike the ball properly. my palms couldnt go in full contact with the ball and therefore i cant seem to control the direction i wan to hit the ball to. and thus a senior peer of mine , hong wen , (40) enlightened me. " relax your body, especially your arms." simple logic. i tried it and true enough i could hit the ball better. it was then i realised the importance of relaxing your body. this not only applies to just playing sports but to many other things as well.
a few days ago i was reading this quote from bruce lee " the more relaxed your muscles are, the more energy can flow through it. using brute force will only cause opposite effects"
only then did i realise the effects of relaxing your muscles

what you give is not what you get

In order to gain something, you must give up something of equivalent value. this particular sentence holds truth to many things that can apply to us. you want to earn money, thus u have to work hard for it. and by working hard, you give your time , and energy, in return u get your paycheck. i name this, the Law of Equivalent Trade.but however. it doesnt seem to apply to everything that we want to gain. you can give your all to the person you love, be there for them during bad times and all. you could have given the whole world to your loved one, and yet all you got back is ignorance. okay maybe at the start u may think that its worth it, and time will change people, but as time goes on, you'll probably get sick and tired. why ? that is simply because for all the things that you had given up for you dont really got back what u THINK you deserved.
This, produces an negative thinking in your mind and thus, u start to hate and detest. all because your emotional needs , and maybe physical needs , are not fulfilled. Thus, you begin searching for alternatives. searching for something which u think deserved you more.

Oneday I was so down and out, everything just seems to be so wrong, okay so it isnt the end of the world for me yet. I couldn’t stop thinking. Took a afternoon nap, and during it, it stormed in my area, I woke up in the evening, probably about 6 plus and see the setting sun out again, but the other side of the sky so still as gloomy. You could say half of the sky is grey and drizzling , and the other half, glorious sunshine.
I hopped onto my bicycle and rode out. Looked up into the sky in awe. Hardly in singapore u can see a full blown rainbow right above your head, and I just did. The rays of the setting sun shone directly at the grey clouds and the reflection of lights on the water droplets hanging in the air created the full blown rainbow over the landscape. I stopped by the traffic light, mesmerized by this beauty. Even strangers around me are taking photos of the rainbow. Somehow or rather I don seem so down and out anymore.
That rainbow admist the darken part of the sky some how inspired me. And I thought, “ yes! That’s it ! nature is taking its course. The sky can be dark, but the rainbow can still be there.

I was working in this warehouse sale with friend of mine, Vio, a 20 odd plus lady married with children. As expected in singapore context, any warehouse sales is bound to have like the whole world attending. It was crowded as hell. There was this mother who was shopping for shoes and her child suddenly went bonkers and cried whilst sitting on the floor. I was near them but I didn’t know what was happening to the child. However, the cries were extremely annonying and loud. How irritating it was. And I told vio “ wah I feel like slapping this kid “ well I guess anyone would want to. Vio turned to me and said “don blame the child ! blame the parents for not taking care of the child!” later on that day as I was on my way home I thought about this incident. What vio said was so true, when we see a child cry in the streeting, we sort of blame it for being noisy, irritating, bla bla bla. But how can we blame such innocent adolences who don’t really know much about this life of theirs? Instead isnt it their parents who should be taking on the blame instead? The blame of not taking the child well enough. So, next time u see a child crying, think again.

I once read an article on the internet, saying in the world of phillipines, the poor would queue up behind restaurents at the end of the day to collect for chicken bones. What they would do is that they will crush the chicken bones into powder form and then boil it with the soup. The chicken bones would give them the nutrients they need to survive since they cant really find much food out there, or probably don have the money to buy. Now few years ago in singapore, ppl are queueing outside macdonalds to buy hello kitty. What in the blue hell is this world becoming? So the next time you bite on that barbequed wing, think again before you throw it away.

infact, its the first post of the year !
kind of running out of ideas of what to write in here.

1 year in marlboro land

hello to the rare ones reading this rarely updated blog site

now its september again and i cant believe that its been one year since last year

within this year many things happened

today marks the 1 year anniversary of my grandfather going to marlboro land
he would have loved it being there

he couldnt even smoke during his last days.....

Deep within the forest , a man paced around with totally nothing in mind but to look for some entertainment to fill his boredom

Taken by surprise, his phone rang, even though there's no reception

Wonders how that sms could find its way through to such an suburban area. but he couldnt care more

He took a glimpse at the msg, couldn't believe it and read through it again and again, each time the smile on his face getting wider and wider

He promtly replied.

And thats how it all started again

A feeling still lingers within him , that same one he had months ago. Or maybe as far as 10 years back

Its just a simple sms. But great enough to change his life now or maybe even the future.

But that doesnt matter now

i remember the time when i just got into poly

its a totally new system

new environment

and meeting new people

almost all of them sucks

everything was fucked up at first

but still things slowly dropped into place

suppose u have 2 boats, the first one is an old wooden boat which looks like shit but comes with 2 oars and a sail. the second is a speed boat, with state of the art design and appealing look, made of carbon fiber, and comes with a powerful engine.

old and slow is that wooden boat, but it never fails to float. no matter how broken it is, even into bits n pieces. There is no engine for it to move fast, so comes into play the oars and the sail, but the major problem is, u have to set the sails and row the boat yourself and steer it in the direction u want to go.

And as for the speed boat, looking all cool steady, with almost no flaws on its appearance, travels fast and sharp, and brings you anywhere u want it to. and all u have to do, is just to simply step on the pedal and steer the wheel.

of course who would want to ride on the wooden boat right? firstly riding on it makes u look like shit too just because it looks like shit, secondly, its slow, and lastly, u have to row it yourself. and everyone asks why the hell are u on it anyway

then here comes the speed boat, fast and furious it goes, great speed and cool looking, and everyone says you are meant to be riding it.

with such great spects, anyone who currently uses the wooden boat would definitely wan to upgrade to speed boat, then of course as useless as it seems the wooden boat becomes obselete and gets discarded eventually. such is the world.

some people are intelligent, keeping both boats, with the wooden one as a spare and so if anything happens to to speed boat, there is always a substitution to rely on.

another level higher than intelligence, one may even decide to use both boats at the same time, but still the wooden boat can never in its lifespan, be as good as the speed boat.again, such is life.

but well, if both boats were to be wrecked into pieces, only the wooden one can save u now coz the wood will float no mater matter what.

so , which boat would u choose? the piece of shit looking wooden boat which can save your life even when broken, or the prince charming speed boat, which can bring u anywhere at ease at a speed so fast u get tossed out even before u know it.

in this world, we can separate the humans living in it into 2 categories
1. humans being used and
2.humans making use of humans
so basically the theory behind this thesis can be derived by jus mere observation of the humans around us, and yet no perception nor prejudism is made
and under these kind of observation skills i had clearly deduced this basic, yet logical theory, that humans are either making use, or being used
but what if the human is willing to let himself to be made used of ?
then does this constitute to the extent that he can be catergorized into category 1? can this exactly be called stupid? for there if there is no gain for him after being made used of. or can we classify it as courage? knowing that theres no gain yet he has the guts to do so, is that not something we should applaud for? but still theres some sense of stupidity in it though. but since if he is willing to do so, then he must've have been a stupidly courageos human.
As for humans who makes use of one another for their peronal gains. in some cases it may seem that they do not mean to do so, but when one comes to wits end, whether if he chose that path or not, he will find a way to survive, and that way is no other than through others. Going into wits end may come once in a while, but when the frequency rises, can we still say its due to factors they canot control ? or due to factors which they do not exactly know how to control ?
Of course this is just one theory which we can think about of, yet there are still many others which i shall not elaborate.
For this world to balance, we must have the 2 category of humans working together, category 1 + category 2 = love, peace, and a bit of hate. but however at times there may be an inperfect balance, category 2 may appear to have more than category 1, and vice versa. meaning the result to be " a lot of hate" or " a lot of peace " respectively.
under the law of equivalent trade- in order to gain something, we must first and foremost give up something of an equal value.
however, in this law which contain defects does not seem to be 100 % true after all. can you give up your life, in exchange for another ?
technically speaking we can call that trade of an equavalent value. but what is the value of life to be spoken of in the first place? is there still any value in the end ?
after all, this is the world, and we can do nothing about it.

Time really passed by when u enjoy it

went to tb55 chalet 2 days ago

well although almoost everything seems kinda cock up

but nevertheless it was still fun la

had barbeque and all that

oh ya the marinated chicken wings sold at cheers was actually quite nice

oh ya and i broke aza handphone charger !

all those ppl so many nv stay then in the end left us

but this time got weian

GIODARNO

As u can see, im back to type something, well its been quite some time but not definitely longer than those previous post, well some actually as long as few months, well as if i can though. Now before u read on to this part of the post u can see the red word on top, well its actually where i got posted to the poly attatchment dono wad thing la, aka work as cheep labour at expense of freedom and money. well after all we can run away from work though, after completing education u have to find some money, legal or illegal u can still call it work.
Allright, at first i tink giodarno quite sian la, posted to such a place and fold clothes, i was actually looking for some office work one, relac relac own time own target best. aiya but no choice wad rite ? since this is the case its either i don do it or i do my best la. but something i cant understand is that y the pay ah.. 1000 $ come down to 500 $ per month, abusing attatchees ! ya so i went to the orientation training la u see, well its quite fun actually the facilitator quite good keep supply sweets, then wads best is got so much good friends to learn with, well its someting like a class in a warehouse la u see.

and so on the 3rd day of training we went to ngee ann city ah for the test or wad, wah bth. sometime allot ppl then sometime suddenly shop inside worker even more than customer every customer come in u hear the workers say " hi good morning " follow by the nex n nex n nex, sian... at the end of the day i very thirsthy ah , fold clothes to keep myself awake. customers also very siao one man , wan come no come , one come all come sia but i very steady, first day already got sales liao and the customer very happy wahahaha, win win situation , they help me pass time and i help them fold clothes lol.
all right as u can see in my previous post i talk about the different type of people there is in this global warming world. u see , in the service industry world there will always be this scenario
business associate aka sales man :" good morning sir ! " taitai : " . . . " head high up and walks away.
ok so u see, its always polite to greet the business associate back. okok so don wan greet also can but at least a smile also can la show aprreciation u noe. its kinda sucky if u greet someone and simply got ignored rite. ok so lastly, there is this thing i mus wirte about since im so free tonite, me and weian went into macdonalds to fill in some forms during our break time , and so we went into this outlet at lucky plaza. and we got 2 cups of ice water without purchasing anything from from them la u see. and then we got served by this indian customer whom i forgot the name. he steady steady serve us with no complain. so for the sake of fun , we filled up this " thank you " card ( the one u see on some shops, its pink with a thank you word on it) and i went to the manager and
wk: " hi your staff here is very good with his services and we would like to recommend him " before we noe it the manager already got 2 ice cream in his hands wahahaha for us of coz wad a deal man ! not forgetting the 2 cups of water too.

INSIGHTS INTO WEEKIAN'S MIND

Its been like a month or more since I last entered here, come to think of it, when I jus started out to blog, I was rather enthu. going around asking how to do tag board la, put music la , bla bla bla, having done so , step by step this bloc page finally gets set up, for the continuous months I was rather an avid poster, posting a new entry every now and then, most of the time about travels around singapore, or so the north east area. I was quite a very free person then, nothing to do after sch and i found myself outside cycling with my buddy and taking photos of my short journeys. as time passed by, I found the lack or interest to really log in and enter a post, or u can say that im lazy, doesnt matter much aniway since im really lazy aniway. soon, the problems in life starts to come in, doesnt matter much if it comes in one by one, but when all of it comes in together, u may say that it kinda sucks. well u noe, its something like suddenly all projects are due in a week and everythings not started yet. to make things even worse u have out of this world group members too.

there are so many type of people in this world, and i really appreciate knowing all of my friends and even my dear and loved ones, or even those that i oni get to meet once ( like talking to a surveyor in the middle of the street) . notice that i appreciate ALL of my friends. to me friendship is what matter most than everything else, even if i have a billion dollars, i wouldnt be a happy man without my friends around. But since this is life, u cant really expect everyone to be your friend, much less an aquantaince, a passerby, or an enemy.

well it just cant be helped but there will bound to be people who pisses or irritates the hell out of u, its not like i care much though, but still since all humans have a freedom of speech then i shall write something about it. For example, i have this classmate ( which i would not classify her as a friend but much more like a parasite ) who likes to make use of people, i mean, really make use of people. its quite allright if he/she asks for a favour one or 2 times in a while, but to go to such extent of even asking the people thats not really close to her to help her in such minor things, wouldnt it really piss that person ? well im rather glad i don quite noe her that well, since i chose not to.

another good example of a weird person - there was this person, which happens to be my classmate, would , according to MR K and Miss L , talk about her and her bf, all the time. we've been in a conversations a few times though and MR K still found her quite an allright person. only MR W n MR B found it quite stress talking to her, since all the topic she ever talks is all orbiting around her. well u see, when a group of people talk, they talk about a general topic rite? which all can join in, its like when we're talking she would talk about something irrelavant. well thats quite ok i tink, but the problem is.. she keeps going and going .. zzz there was once when i happen to be inside the bus with her ( wth i also dont want de wad ) and she keeps rattling about WARCRAFT to me when she jolly well noes i don play that , ALL MY FRIENDS NOE THAT . and she just keeps rattling on and on.. saying this hero very power la, that hero mus do wad la, which hero can win wad hero la, like as if i understand? The worst part is that she doesnt even notice my " when are u gona stop face" lol OK .. soon MR K also found it quite a bore talking to her hahaha..

well i guess thats just how humans are, they are born out with their own distintive peronality and it will sort of change according to any major happenings in their life. some peoples must have huge happenings i guess. well even if thats the case , i cant really do much about it too, since anything thats happen is past and we cant change the past. so i will jus jolly well forget about it and continue my happy go lucky life.

there was once when joanna asked me recently : " u seem to be happy all the time "
and so it sets me of thinking. am i really happy ? well as a human there will be bound to be unhappy times , but still even if there are to me , i will just jolly well find a solution, settle and not think about it animore, even if there's no solution, i also wont go n think, since there no point to. well i guess theres always someting to be happy about, no matter how bad the situation is. i remember my ex principal once telling this story : there were 2 guys sitting on the bus, one at the front and the other just behind the first guy . then there came in this fat lady who sat with the guy in front, almost squeezing him to death , anyone in this situation who've cursed the fat lady but to the 2nd guy's amazement, the first guy was smiling away even after they got of the bus. so curiously he ask the first guy what he is so happy about. the first guy replied by saying " im glad my wife is not as fat as her "

so u see, even in a worst case scenario can turn out to something worth to smile about.
well this should be my longest post ever since i established this blog, not an adventure post though , but just a share with my personal insights. now im surprised i can actually type so much. well.. till then i log in again, that is if i ever log in , end .

went to ly's bd chalet on monday
well also dono how to start
when reach there already got quite alot ppl there
then started playing stupid games in the room
had some food
oh ya me benny bought him a medium bottle of gin
not forgetting dee who last min chip in too..

syamil seems like going to be a bartender in the future
keep on mixing drinks for us
